world cup cards new fever at Chapel

Instead of carrying textbooks, notebooks, and pencil cases students at Chapel changed to their Fifa World Cup album and cards. Every four years fifa world cup cards become a fever at schools, specially at Chapel where you can see students from all grades changing their cards with friends and even with people they never talk to. Teachers also buy their albums and they get their cards mainly when students donate to them or when they confiscate from students that are changing cards during class time. There are three different ways to complete your album. Some students at Chapel spends more than 200 reais in packets with 5 cards and they complete their album less than a week. The other way to complete the album, and personally it was the way I completed is by buying 50-60 reais of packets and changing your repetitives cards with your mates at break and lunch time. The average time to complete the album using these method is between 2 and 3 weeks. The last and longer way to finish is by waiting your friends to complete their albums and ask their repetitives cards and glue them in your album.
I have quite a few repetitives cards and now I'm giving to teachers and studnets who still dindt complete the album. I owe Professor Max many cards because he was the one who gave me the last card i needed.

Finals Exams are coming up

The finals exams are coming up and this is when everyone feels nervous and anxious to obtain a good grade in the exams which are 20% of the semester grade. Studying for those tests seems very difficult because the exams reach a vast amount of information. Finding a good strategy for study is a difficult task to do thats why I developed 10 ways to enrich your studying by researching in the internet and analyzed my personal experience for studying.

1. Know what you are being tested on
2. Make a study sheet with everything you think are going to be on the test.
3. Make up flash cards, with questions on the front and answers on the back
4. Study in the best place for you.
5. Make up a song or connect to something that will make you remember
6. Quiz yourself or ask someone to do it
7. Study early, not the night before the exam
8. Find a method that works for you
9. Do not study for 6 hours straight, pause for eating or watching some television
10. Pay attention in class, that the easy and faster way of studying.

Good luck on the exams.

Big 4 Season Overview

My Prediction before the commence of the season

Boys Futsal 2nd place in SPHSL and 2nd place in BIG 4

Girls Volley 2nd place in SPHSL and 1st place in BIG 4

Boys Volley 4th place in BIG 4

Girls Futsal 2nd place in BIG 4

Boys Softball 3rd place in BIG 4

Girls Softball 2nd place in BIG 4
-------------------------------------------------------------

Season Results

Boys Futsal: 4th place in SPHSL and 3rd place in Big 4
Girls Volley: 1st place in SPHSL and 2nd place in Big 4
Boys Volley: 2nd place in Big 4
Girls Futsal: 3rd place in Big 4
Boys Softball: 3rd place in Big 4
Girls Softball: 1st place in Big 4

I was surprised with boys futsal performance in this season because we had good players in our squad but we couldn't find a effective way to play and we only won 3 games out of 13 in the season, and it was only against weak teams. Girls volley I was already expecting excellent results, however i didn't imagine that they would beat St Pauls in the final, and unfortunately losing Big 4 against teams where Chapel won easily in the first round. Getting the 2nd place was a enormous achievement made by boys volleyball because Chapel volleyball have a history of loosing all games, however Ms. Bastos made an excellent job with the boys and almost achieved the gold medal at Big 4. Boys and Girls softball was inside my expectations and the girls again deserved the gold medals, while the boys showed some good performance but in the decisive game played really bad with a lot of mistakes

Amazing tie against the rednecks (EAC).

Everyone was waiting for this game for 8 reasons.
1.Chapel and Eac are mortal rivals.
2. Chapel and Eac always play excellent and tense games.
3. There's always someone send out of the game.
4. They are both Big 8 last winners
5. Chapel won in Big 8 final and SPHL semi finals against the giants
6. Eac won against Chapel at the SPHL futsal finals and won the last game 9x2.
7. Chapel need the victory so the semi finals goal is achieved.
8. EAC need to win so they can classify for the finals at home.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chapel started with Vicente, Martin, Christian, Filipe, and Kim. The majority of the starting team was sophmores. The trojans started with the zone defense and it was working well until a surprising kick from behind open the score for the giants. Chapel tied the game with an excellent change of passes between Christian and Martin with a right low kick of Martin. After that everything went horrible for the Trojans. The gians easily scored 3 goals.4x1. The good thing about it was that Eac's best player Robertinho was send out of the game after two agressive fouls. Even when a trojans player was also send out of the game, Chapel was still braverly fighting and scored 3 goals and tied the game. But that wasn't enough to win, now the Trojans NEED to win against their major rival GRADED.

Trojans' home defeat against PACA

Chapel players had in the mind that if they lost the game against the warriows they would be 99% excluded from the semifinals. Consequently, Chapel players were very focused and were motivated after the speech captain Pietro gave to the players.

The game started with both teams looking to score, and Chapel with Pietro scored the first goal after a strong kick from the captain. Right after the first goal, Chapel scored another one and relaxed in the gym. Because of that PACA scored 4 goals and ended the first half on the lead.

Coach Marcello was very mad at the players due to the four goals made by Paca because of defensive mistakes. Coach changed the way of the team playing at the second half and changed some players.

Second Half started with Chapel pressuring Paca with strong kicks and fast passess. However, the team was only preocuppied in scoring goals and the defense was vulnerable. Chapel scored two goals but PACA made five, again on the trojans defesinve mistakes.

END OF GAME: Chapel 4x9 PACA

Horrible loss against EAC

Chapel players had in the mind that winning in Campinas against EAC is a diffcult task, but they were confident after their recent win against St Pauls. Both teams wasn't complete, Nicolas from Chapel and Robertinho from Eac, excellent players by the way couldn't be present at the game. The game started with a bombardment from eac making Pietro working non stopely. EAC's defensive system and the goalie Sono was in a perferct day. Marcello tried different moves and different players but nothing work, EAC easily won 9 x 2. Chapel's players after the game was clearly upset cause they know what their team is capable of. ''Our team payuing attention at all time during the game'' said Romeo.

St Pauls x Chapel. Easy win for the Trojans

After a tough away tie against PACA, Chapel easily defeated the lions with a 9x4 win. It was a perfect moment for the coach to analyze which the reactions of players in a real game experience. All the players partcipated in the game and improved their futsal abilities.
Despite the weakness of the lions, the game started hard and Pietro, Nicolas, Samir, and Tomas was finding some dificulties to reach the goal. With a 0x0 on the scoreboard, Coach Marcello change the whole team and used a new tatic to surprise the Lions' defensive system. Romeo opened the score for the Chapel, and after that goals and moves was appearing and Chapel reached 9 goals in the game. Marcello had the opportunity to test new tatics and increase the team performance in fouls and attacking moves.
